- Open Your Queue
- On the Spotify app, tap the “Now Playing” bar at the bottom of the screen to expand it.
- Look for the “Queue” icon (three horizontal lines with a small play icon) and tap it.
- View Your Queue
- You’ll see a list of all songs lined up for playback. These include tracks you added manually and the ones auto-added by Spotify.
- Remove Songs
- Mobile App: Tap the circle next to the song(s) you want to remove to select them. Once selected, tap “Remove” or the trash can icon.
- Desktop App: Right-click on the song(s) in the queue and choose “Remove from Queue” from the dropdown menu.
- Clear the Entire Queue (Optional)
- If you want a fresh start, remove all songs in your queue by selecting them in bulk and hitting the “Remove” option.
- Prevent Auto-Added Tracks
- Spotify sometimes adds tracks to fill gaps when your queue ends. To avoid this, turn off the “Autoplay” feature in your settings.
By following these steps, you can easily declutter your Spotify queue and ensure your music matches your vibe. Whether you’re curating a workout playlist or enjoying a chill evening, taking control of your queue enhances your Spotify experience.
