How to turn off likes on Instagram?

  1. Open Instagram App: Launch the Instagram app on your mobile device.
  2. Go to Settings: Tap on your profile icon, located at the bottom right corner of the screen, to access your profile.
  3. Access Account Settings: Once on your profile, tap on the three horizontal lines or the gear icon (depending on your device) to access the Settings menu.
  4. Navigate to Privacy Settings: In the Settings menu, scroll down and select “Privacy”.
  5. Select Post Privacy: Under the Privacy settings, find and tap on “Posts”.
  6. Turn Off Likes: Within the Post settings, look for the option labeled “Allow Likes and Comments on Posts”. Toggle this option off to disable likes on your posts.
  7. Confirm Changes: Instagram may prompt you to confirm your decision. Confirm the action to turn off likes on your posts.
  8. Done: Once confirmed, likes will be disabled on all your future posts.

Remember, this setting only applies to your own posts. You won’t be able to turn off likes for other users’ posts on Instagram.
