To undo or exit Vanish Mode on Instagram after you’ve used it in a chat, you can follow these simple steps:
- Open the Chat: Go to the Instagram Direct message section and open the chat where Vanish Mode is enabled.
- Swipe Up: Similar to how you enabled it, swipe up from the bottom of the screen. There should be animations or an indication that Vanish Mode is active.
- Turn Off Vanish Mode: As you swipe up, you’ll see an option to turn off Vanish Mode. Release your swipe when you see this option.
The chat will then return to normal mode, and new messages will no longer disappear after they are seen. Remember, messages sent in Vanish Mode are meant to disappear after being viewed, so any messages sent while in Vanish Mode won’t be visible once you exit.
